Dvd Sat
Although I bought my first aerobics DVD, it almost three years ago, I used it once and have not touched it since. If I think long enough, I might be able to remember the title. It is probably somewhere in my back of my wardrobe even if I did not run through it in a long time. But I do remember a few things about it. The label was an ugly pink color, with a Jaws-like dude on the front with a big smile and big hair, spandex covered, saying it was time to lose weight. I really thought that the aerobic DVD I motivate to get my butt in shape, but it was not meant to be. Instead, my brand new aerobic DVD just sitting in a corner gathering dust, while sitting on the couch collecting dust also increasingly bold and NOT fitness, as I expected.
The video training second that I got was a step aerobics DVD, but he does not see a better fate than the first. I think I remember that I "tried" some aerobic DVD a few times, but it did not feel right. I felt really stupid sitting there at home, moving my body with a class that was very obviously in form, and it felt like what I did was completely ridiculous. I could not find a good way to make this part of my daily routine. My original plan was to start each day with the aerobic DVD followed by a shower, but as soon as I get out of bed in the morning, I found a workout was the last thing on my mind.
I bought three or four aerobic DVDs since then and to be perfectly honest with you, not one of them did the trick for me. I found it's just not fun to do aerobics by yourself in the family room, watching the aerobic DVD on my TV. I felt not as something that was going to get back in shape from watching the DVD aerobic. Finally, I did the unthinkable as I feared – I joined a gym and a health club. And you know what I found? Tahat once I started to get my exercise of my aerobics class and not a DVD aerobics, do it with people like me who also needed to get in shape, it suddenly became much easier to stick with the program. The class also made me leave the house, and the people I worked with were all very encouraging to see that I could not help but become I hooked my training program.
Everyone is different. Perhaps an aerobics DVD will work for you as it does for many people. But it did not work for me. I need the interaction between people who also need to get in shape, and encouragement to me motivates. Other people can do equally well with an aerobics DVD and it works for them, especially since they can exercise at their leisure on their own schedule, without having to go to the gym.
